“This Winter CSA is better than the Summer CSA I had in Oregon last season!”
Winter CSA at a glance:
2024/2025 Winter CSA
Two share sizes available:
Full Share with 20 weekly pickups
Half Share with 10 bi-weekly pickups
The Winter CSA starts the week of October 8th and ends the week of March 10th. Start and end dates vary for Half Shares depending on if you are in Group 1 or 2.
The total cost of the Winter CSA is $725 for Full Shares and $362.50 for Half Shares, for 6 months of local, seasonal, organically grown vegetables. We offer a pay weekly option as well, each pickup is $36.25.
Each share consists of a diverse selection of 8 items.
Our goal is for shares to consist of approximately half fresh harvested items, like greens, herbs, and specialty vegetables, and half storage crop type items, like carrots, squash, and potatoes.
In the later winter months, in addition to the veggie items, we provide farm-made prepared products such as pasta sauce, passata, fermented pickles, and frozen roasted peppers. These items are not only delicious, they are especially valuable during weeks when it is too cold and cloudy to harvest large amounts of greens from our unheated high tunnels.
Members consistently tell us the quality and diversity of the items is above and beyond what they can find in the grocery store and other CSA shares.
On most weeks we offer choice items. For example, a choice between a kale and chard bunch. Members at pre-packed pick-up sites (Poplar St, King St, Hamilton, and Polson) will receive a google form several days ahead of time to select their choices.

We take the week off from deliveries on the week of Christmas, week of December 23rd. We also take a two week break in February to give time the greens to regrow in the high tunnels, to let members catch up on veggies, and so we can do our annual farm review with the crew. This will be the weeks of February 3rd and 10th.
Know you farmers, know your food: everything we (Max, Katie + crew) produce at Winter Kissed Farm is produced with soil health in mind.
Members and non-CSA customers can shop the online store for additional items. We source products from other local growers such as apples, berries, eggs, and more.
We value your feedback: We do a member survey mid way through the Winter CSA and at the end of the CSA season. We take your feedback to heart and strive to make changes and improvements based on these surveys to better serve you.

Hear what members have to say about the Winter CSA:
Marty in Helena says: “Deliveries were on time and beautifully displayed. Easy to pick up my veggies and make choices. I very much appreciate the waxy boxes for the special orders. Produce was fresh and varied, which is a lot of fun for me when cooking! The frost sweetened carrots are so good!”
Missoula member in our mid-winter CSA survey says: “I absolutely love my CSA! I look forward to my pick-up every other week. Having this CSA has really developed my cooking skills and using the items I have on hand versus going to the grocery store non-stop. Thank you for feeding my body with love grown nutritious food!”
Kalispell member in end of Winter CSA survey: “You guys rock! I've been so impressed with this farm share! Our entire family looks forward to it. Thank you!!”
Farm member: “Thank you for all you do! What a great opportunity to have fresh veggies in winter!”
